It is the morning after the Golden Globes and most of the talk is still surrounding Jodie Foster’s acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Some in the audience were moved to tears as she came out (well, sort of) and addressed the issue of her mothers ailing health, while others remained baffled as to whether she was ending her 47- year career in Hollywood.
Speaking about her sexuality, she said: ”While I’m here being all confessional, I guess I just have just a sudden urge to say something that I’ve never really been able to air in public. [It's] a declaration that I’m a little nervous about – but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now. I’m just going to put it out there – loud and proud.”
And with her arms open, she added: ”I am single.”
“This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age – in those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her … but now apparently I’m told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a primetime reality show, ” she added.
Celebrities reacted positively on Twitter as she became a trending subject, but we wanna know, what do you think?
The Golden Globes are just hours away, so why not pop open the bubbly and celebrate what is traditionally one of Hollywood’s most entertaining ceremonies.
And we think this delicious, yet low-calorie drink, which comes courtesy of Shape magazine, should hit the spot on award night.

She was one of René Garza’s Worst Dressed ladies at the Golden Globes, and now the actress is revealing that she let her daughter pick her dress.
“It’s funny – I didn’t try on that many dresses,” she told People magazine said on the red carpet. ”My 2-year-old [daughter Charlotte] walked in, walked up this dress and said, ‘Mama, wear this!’ So I put it on and said, ‘OK!’ ”
“She really went for it,” the actress adds. ”She chose the bag and shoes. I let her pick all of it.”
Naturally, if there is a party, Lindsay Lohan will be in attendance. But the starlet looked decidedly different as she walked the red carpet at the Weinstein Company After Party held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
She’s had a tough time of late, what with the breakdown of her marriage to Ashton Kutcher, and it still seems to be affecting Demi Moore’s weight.
The star looked even thinner than previously (if that is possible) as she attended the Cinema For Peace Event Benefitting J/P Haitian Relief held at The Montage Hotel Beverly Hills with daughter Rumer.
Demi recently addressed her continued weight loss in Harpers Bazaar, saying: “[I'm] thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, ‘You’re too thin, and you don’t look good.”
