Ombre, ombre, ombre. It’s all the rage and when it’s done right, it’s a beautiful look.
Naomi, a colorist at Gavert-Atelier in Beverly Hills, who handles some of the biggest stars in Hollywood gives us some tips:
Naomi : “When I do ombré, I like to make natural gradation looks. My ombre highlight is usually a back combing highlight. Sometimes I combine back combing highlight and balayage(top few layers). When those two techniques combined, it gives that natural, ombré hair look. ”
Celebzter: “What’s next for Fall?”
Naomi: ”Twilight ombré” which is only different than Ombre in that we don’t put any highlight on part to half-inch away from part. That can look really natural, too.
Also, vivid color continues to be big especially for the young generation. We’re using all different color varieties, like pink. We use a really good product out of Japan, called ”milbon”.
