The Kentucky Derby may be over but we still have our fabulous hat and great memories of The Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC) Viewing Party Saturday, appropriately called “Hold Your Horses”. Outside of the actual race, this is our favorite place to be since it’s as close to tradition as you can get outside of Kentucky.
The historic downtown L.A. setting feels like a different age, with it’s beautiful brick facade, old-world service and regal rooms. The best part? Hat designer Pooka Queen was showcasing some of her original hat creations, so if you didn’t like the one you wore, you could pick up a different chapeau. oh, and the mint juleps weren’t bad either.

The weather may have been atrocious, but it didn’t stop the stars from turning out in force for this year’s Kentucky Derby.
And, on Friday night, the Maxim Presents Fillies & Stallions Party at the Kentucky Derby party was the place to be… especially for one beautiful blonde who found herself the object of Ashton Kutcher’s attentions.
Tucked in a back corner of the room, the actor happily flirted away with the buxom blonde beauty, who happened to be one of the Maxim models working the party.
She is the blonde on the left in the jockey outfit in the photo below (we have her name, but we will release more details tomorrow).
According to our sources, she and Ashton only had eyes for each other the entire night and several of our eyewitnesses inside the party confirm that the pair left together… we’ll leave it to you to add two and two together and figure out what happened next.
We guess the question now is, what is going on between Ashton and Mila Kunis. Perhaps they really are just friends….or friends with benefits?
Meanwhile, other celebrities and athletes who turned out for the bash included Aaron Rodgers, Asthon Kutcher, Aubrey O’Day, Bob Guiney, Geoff Stults, Guy Fieri, Kate Flannery, Lindsey Vonn, Max Adler, Oscar Nunez, Taylor Dane, Tinsley Mortimer, Vicki Gunvalson, Erin Rodgers, Joey Fatone, Bode Miller, and more danced the night away to DJ Best and enjoyed the private bash during the most prestigious weekend of the Triple Crown Series.
The stars enjoy Derby-inspired cocktails from Bulleit Bourbon and Jeremiah Weed Tea Vodka, while experiencing an insider’s look at the biggest weekend in horse racing.
