I am proud to introduce my new design range of luxury 100% silk scarves featuring paintings from my late Father, Juan Antonio Guirado’s finest works. Being surreal pieces of art they lend themselves beautifully to fabric print, especially as silk scarves and dresses. The design of the prints takes on new imagery when the scarves are draped around the neck. In some ways the actual paintings are developing into new surreal essentialist imagery. It’s the perfect fusion of fine art and fashion.
The scarves are limited edition pieces featuring “Enlightenment” and “Apocalypse” from his show “Out of Darkness Comes Light” reflecting mans quest for inner peace at the dawning of 2012 and the prophecies surrounding this.
