We know the suspense over whether Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie secretly tied the knot has probably lead to many a sleepless night.
But good news, you can now rest easy in the knowledge that the pair are still engaged.
Rumors sparked that the couple had wed after Angelina wore a simple gold band instead of her $500,000 diamond engagement ring on a visit to Africa this week.
However, Angelina has since denied it is a wedding band.
“Is that a wedding ring, Angelina?” a reporter asks in a video posted to TMZ.com. “No, it’s not,” she replies.
Brad said in November that the couple would marry ”soon,” but as of yet, no one has any idea of what soon means as no date has been set.
There is nothing like the pressure of over 5 million people watching your reaction to a surprise proposal, followed by a speedy wedding on live television.
That was the situation Melissa Cohn found herself in earlier Thursday morning, when her boyfriend Brian Bondy got down on one knee and popped the question on “Good Morning America”.
Melissa thought they were appearing on the show to tell the story of their relationship for Valentine’s Day and how they met on match.com
But little known to her, Brian got down on one knee and popped the question in Times Square, to which Melissa said “yes”, much to the relief, of, well, everyone watching and the “GMA” team.
“We have a yes!” Josh Elliot shouted to the crowd, who cheered. When Brian told Melissa about the catch, that she had to marry him right away, she said, “Right now?” and seemed very baffled, before finally saying, “Okay.” Then, Melissa’s family and friends came out and she couldn’t believe it.
With the wedding dress, cakes, and family friends around them, Lara Spencer assured Melissa there was no pressure, but there kind of was– she had 20 minutes to get ready for her big day, that was watched by a nation.
Which begs the question: Would you marry on the spot on TV?

In the first look at pictures from their Italian wedding last week, Justin Timberlake is seen in the throes of excitement, while his beautiful bride, Jessica Biel suits perched perfectly in the foreground.
Gushing about their romantic Oct. 19 nuptials to People magazine, Timberlake says it “was a really special evening.”
While Jessica adds: ”It was a total fantasy experience.”
In the photos, which the couple were reportedly paid $300,000 for, Timberlake wears a Tom Ford tuxedo that he helped to design, while Biel walked down the aisle in a custom, petal pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.
Timberlake told the mag that Biel was the ”most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
And he goes on to reveal that he played the guitar and serenaded his beautiful bride-to-be as she walked down the aisle.
The wedding, which cost an estimated $6.5 million, saw the pair tie the knot after five years, in front of 100 guests, including close friends Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Biel’s “7th Heaven” costar Beverley Mitchell, who were invited to the Borgo Egnazia resort in southern Italy for a week-long wedding celebration.
“It was a lot to ask of them to travel, so we figured we’d give our guests a good party!” says Timberlake.
This couple traveled from their native Sweden to tie the knot in Britain’s first Klingon wedding ceremony at a Star Trek convention in London on Friday.
Jossie Sockertopp, 23, and 29-year-old Sonnie Gustavsson married at the ”Destination Star Trek London” event, which will see 17,000 “trekkies” flock to London’s ExCel centre this weekend.
The couple met four years ago and came up with the idea for their wedding after watching an episode of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”, in which Klingon character Worf marries science officer Jadzia Dax in a traditional Klingon ceremony.
“We saw the clip from the series…and we thought it was very romantic about beating hearts and a battle for each other. We really liked it, that’s why we want to do this,” Sockertopp said.
No expense was spared when it came to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s romantic Italian nuptials.
As previously reported, the pair is man and wife, gushing about their joy in a statement to PEOPLE.
And now new details are emerging on how they prepped for the big day, with Life & Stylemagazine, who have been accurately predicting the nuptials all week (including capturing an image of Timberlake in Italy on Wednesday), reporting that the couple splashed out nearly $12,000 on a lunch for their wedding guests on Oct. 18.
“They were shuttled from their hotel to the caves at Lama del Trappeto and were treated to a performance of The Living Nativity, one of the main attractions in the area. Dozens of actors dressed up and put the show for them,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “They paid about 9,000 Euro for the activity!”
And just like their party on the evening of Oct. 17, the outing also included some yummy meals.
“Guests went crazy for the pasta with chickpeas and fava beans sprinkled with chili pepper,” the eyewitness says. “They had a buffet of local dishes for lunch, including buffalo mozzarella and friselle, which is a type of local hard-baked, savory bread. It seemed like a really traditional experience.”
As Life & Style previously reported, the couple married in southern Italy on Oct. 19 after five years of dating.

After a week of endless speculation and photos emerging from Italy, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have tied the knot.
Though it still is uncertain on when exactly the nuptials took place, PEOPLE will have all the exclusive photos in their next week issue.
And, fittingly, the news of their marriage (they wed in an intimate ceremony in Brindisi, southern Italy) was provided to the site in an exclusive statement from the happy couple.
“It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Friday.
According to reports, Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, have spent $6 million on the hush-hush nuptials, flying in guests from around the world.
The couple have been dating for five years (give or take a few months when they split briefly). In December, Timberlake proposed to Biel during their annual vacation in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are set to say “I do!”
It was widely speculated that they would marry in Northern California, but according to the latest reports, the pair are set to wed in Italy this week.
“The wedding was top-secret, hush-hush,” a close friend of the couple tells Life & Style. “Save-the-dates went out in the spring and little information was given. Guests were warned that any phones or cameras would be confiscated, so best to leave them at the hotel.”
The source tells the mag that the wedding is so confidential, even loved ones had to sign confidentiality agreements and weren’t even informed of the venue! “They were told just to fly to Italy,” shares an insider.
Us Weekly is also reporting news of an Italian wedding, with festivities kicking off yesterday.
“They are ready to get married,” an insider tells the mag. says of the intimate, rustic ceremony to be attended only by close friends and family. With the bride and groom’s team taking “extra precautions” to keep the location top-secret, celebrations kicked off on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Jessica, 30, and Justin, 31, will tie the knot after more than five years of dating. In December, the Trouble With the Curve star proposed to his longtime love during their annual vacation in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Saturday was a big day on the wedding calendar with three celebrities tying the knot.
Anne Hathaway married longtime love Adam Shulman on Saturday night in a romantic ceremony in the Big Sur on the California coast.
According to PEOPLE, more than 100 guests were in attendance for the nuptials, which began with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa.
Hathaway wore a custom Valentino gown and the wedding décor (the nuptials were held at a private estate) were inspired by nature, with many branches used to create a ceremony and reception to blend in with the majestic Big Sur surroundings, a source tells PEOPLE.
The couple, who have been together for four years, reportedly hired Natalie Portman’s wedding planner to help plan the perfect wedding.
The 29-year-old actress last year revealed about makes her relationship with Shulman, 31, work.
“We have house parties and dinner parties and just hang out,” Hathaway said. “I’m so delighted by [Adam]. He’s all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence.”
Meanwhile, in Tennessee, Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill wed model Martha Patterson.
Followill and Patterson, who got engaged in April, celebrated their special day in a rustic house and were joined by Jared’s family and band mates, Caleb, Matthew and Nathan.
According to JustJared.com the wedding reception featured “a beautiful firework display and a five-tier strawberry cream cake” and highlights of the day included Martha and her mother dancing to Carrie Underwood’s song “Mama’s Song” and guests doing the “Copperhead Road” line dance.
Followill, 25, took to Twitter prior to the wedding to share his excitement about marrying the 21-year-old.
“Today, I get married. It’s the biggest step I’ve ever taken. I’ve dreamed about this day since I was a little girl,” he wrote.
And after the ceremony, he posted the photo above on the social networking site.
“Aaaaaand I’m married. Happiest man in the world,” he tweeted.
One wedding that was not low-key was that of Holly Valance who married billionaire Nick Candy on Saturday in a large and lavish wedding which took place in Beverly Hills.
The bride was said to have worn an extravagant white gown with full, meringue style skirt resembling feathers and a bodice.
According to reports, the Australian-born singer also sported a very exaggerated lace veil in a vintage style which also acted as a train, and carried a dramatic dark red bouquet.
Celebrity guests at the three-day event included Simon Cowell.
Their secret nuptials last night came as surprise to many and not even in a year into their relationship, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are now husband and wife.
A source tells PEOPLE that the pair, who costarred together in 2011′s Green Lantern, married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.
The website reports that the reception took place in a white tent at the plantation and Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) performed three songs live.
While this is 25-year-old Lively’s first marriage, it is Reynold’s second. After splitting with long-term love Alanis Morissette in February 2007, he began dating Scarlett Johansson. The couple announced their engagement in May 2008, and married on September 27, 2008.
So, it appears that when it comes to love and marriage, Reynolds doesn’t like to waste time and give or take a few months, his marriages tend to fall around the one-year mark.
Another similarity? He and Johansson tied the knot in a quiet ceremony. There’s took place near Tofino, British Columbia.
Let’s hope that his and Lively’s union fares better, with Johansson and Reynolds only making it to the two-year mark before calling it quits on their marriage.
