It’s one of the biggest nights on the New York calendar, with every bold-faced name from films, fashion and art descending upon the red carpet.
And, as always, the competition for best dressed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual ball was fierce. In this case, it was Sasha fierce.
in a sea of gorgeous gowns, and some major fashion mishaps, it was Beyonce Knowles who flew the flag for fashion and emerged as one of the night’s best dressed in her sheer sequin Givenchy Haute Couture gown.
The 30-year-old looked breathtakingly beautiful, and it is hard to believe that she only gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January.
And the singer admitted on the red carpet that shedding the baby weight has come down to sheer hard work.
“I’ve been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it’s my first show in a year,” she told ET.
She also revealed that she longs for more children with husband Jay-Z.
“I want to have more,” she said last night. “I don’t know how many. God knows I don’t know yet.”
