She’s committed and he is too — to hitting the gym.
While it is hard what to make of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s engagement at this point, the Hunger Games star is not letting relationship woes get in the way of him keeping in shape.
Liam was spotted leaving a gym in West Hollywood this past week and was sure to duck and hide from the paparazzi.
Meanwhile, Miley, who was sporting her engagement bling over the weekend during a shopping trip to Target, has opened up to Elle U.K. and revealed why she said ”yes” when the Aussie hunk popped the question.
“We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed,” she explains in the June issue, out May 1. “But, we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it anymore.”
They had plans to wed this June, but as Miley Cryus and Liam Hemsworth struggle to save their relationship, which appears to be fraught with problems, the likelihood of the couple now even making it down the aisle, appears slim.
Life & Stylehas learned that Miley Cyrus’ plans to wed fiancé Liam Hemsworth during a springtime wedding in Palm Springs, Calif., have come to a halt.
The mag reports;
“They were supposed to get married in June,” an insider reveals in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. “But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment.”
Even Liam’s family is questioning if his wedding to Miley will happen. “I don’t know,” actress Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, answered on April 8, when Life & Style asked whether the wedding would go on. “If they get married, it would be nice to go [to their wedding.”]
Though the two are still a couple, their relationship was tested when Liam, 23, shared a passionate lip-lock with Mad Men star January Jones after a pre-Oscar bash back in February.
Miley, 20, was recently seen partying into the wee hours on April 5 for rapper Pharrell Williams’ 40th birthday at LIV in Miami while Liam stepped out solo for an afternoon workout in LA.
“They aren’t ready,” says the insider of their somewhat separate lives. “Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced,” adding, “They’re very young to be getting married.”
We agree wholeheartedly — these two are just kids and way too young to be making a committment of that magnitude.
Miley Cyrus is continuing in her attempt to throw off the impression that all is well in her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
After last week taking to Twitter to explain why she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring, claiming it was being fixed, she has just posted a new snap where the 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond can be clearly seen on her finger.
The 20-year-old has not been seen with Hemsworth since claims he got close to actress January Jones at a party during Oscar weekend in February. He flew home to his native Australia, with sources telling the NY Post, that he needed to spend time with his family and friends
“Miley and Liam are done; it’s over,” a source told the newspaper. “She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.”
Another insider close to the couple added: “They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated.
“While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart,” the insider said.

Her fiance may be on the other side of the world and has just splashed out $1.6m on a bachelor pad in his native Australia, but Miley Cyrus wants to give the world the impression that all is well in her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
While the actor was seen arriving in Manila in the Philippines on Friday for some promotional work, Miley was addressing the issue of her missing engagement ring on Twitter.
Singer Lindsey J. Lee Tweeted, “had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed… one of the little diamonds fell out… I feel naked without it :( so sad!”
And Miley’s response to the tweet?
“ugh that’s the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off,” the 20-year-old wrote.
Miley’s pal, actress Evan Rachel Wood, tweeted some support to Miley, writing, “The fact that we live in a world which condones the stripping of basic human rights (dignity, privacy, etc.) of people because of their status, is very sad to me,” she mused. “We need to have higher standards for ourselves as people and a society.”
Miley retweeted the actress’ posted and added, “I [heart] @evanrachelwood Thank you for always speakin the truth #badb****contestyoureinfirstplace”
The news comes on the back of reports that Miley is desperate to win Liam back.
Perhaps it is a case of the course of true love never running smooth?
Yesterday it emerged that Miley Cyrus and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth have called it quits after weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship.
One of the key factors in the split, a source told Page Six, was Miley’s penchant for partying.
“Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him,” one source revealed to the newspaper.
However, this video, shot at the Samsung Galaxy Note II party at a private home in Beverly Hills on October 25, paints an entirely different picture of Liam — and he is not the shy, retiring type he would like people to believe.
If anything, he seems to like to party — and party hard!
According to eyewitnesses at the bash, he was drunk and flirting up a storm.
In fact, Radar Online reported at the time, that despite having already proposed to Miley, he was spotted getting “very cozy” with a hot blonde.
“Liam was in the corner of the back tent with a blonde and they were getting very cozy,” the source dishes. “It definitely looked like they were behaving in a way that was more than just friendly, ” an eyewitness told the website.
“His friend/handler was trying to keep people away and allow Liam and his ‘friend’ some privacy,” the source adds, “but Liam didn’t seem to be that worried about it.”
It doesn’t appear to us that it is Miley’s partying that is the root of the problem between the pair, but more so, Liam at just 23, is reluctant (or ready) to settle down.
The wedding may not be off, but the engagement ring is as Miley Cyrus’ relationship with Liam Hemsworth seemingly continues to implode.
And January Jones’ lack of a denial over being the third party in their relationship is certainly not helping either.
TMZ caught the ”Mad Men” star as arrived to a flock of photographers at LAX on Thursday, and she pretty much stayed mum over the barrage of questions surrounding her and Hemsworth.
It comes as new details emerge of exactly what went down with Jones and Hemsworth at a Grey Goose pre-Oscar party in LA on Feb. 23.
Life & Style has learned that things between Miley Cyrus’ fiancé and the Mad Men actress got even more heated after they left the Chateau Marmont shindig.
They report;
“They went to a private house party, and right in the middle of the party, January was clinging to Liam, saying, ‘You’re so handsome,’” a guest reveals in the new issue of Life & Style. “He kept saying, ‘We can’t do this here.’ Then they left holding hands and went out in the hallway and were making out. She was wasted. It wasn’t good.”
Friends tell Life & Style that Miley is heartbroken over the news that Liam cheated on her with a true platinum-blond bombshell. “Miley is freaking out,” a friend dishes to Life & Style. “She’s been telling her friends that she trusts him, but if she finds out the cheating claims are true, their engagement is over.”
Caught rushing into a waiting car together at 2:30 a.m. after partying at the Chateau, a source explains January is known for getting what she wants. “When it comes to men, January just goes for it,” an industry insider tells Life & Style. “She doesn’t seem to care if they’re with someone or not. It’s like a challenge for her, a game.”
This isn’t the first time Miley and Liam’s up-and-down relationship — which began on the set of their film, The Last Song, in 2009 — has suffered amid rumors of his wandering eye. In August 2010, his rep announced that he and Miley had ended their relationship after rumors swirled that he’d gotten cozy with a bevy of beautiful blondes at a Newport Beach, Calif., party.
There is certainly enough heat on this story to suggest, that perhaps, it is true. So we have to ask;
