This weekend was the launch of Better You, at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica. I have to admit the prospect of hanging at an exclusive beach club on a super sunny Saturday wasn’t exactly hard to turn down, and when I found out it wasn’t compulsory to join in the classes, but instead lounge in the VIP tent sipping mimosas, the day seemed even brighter.
A scrumptious, healthy lunch was laid on courtesy of Garden Eating. They provided a delicious spread consisting of grilled satays, vegetables, fresh dips and salads served in chinese take out boxes with chopsticks.So healthy and delicious! I also fell in love with the mouthwatering cup cakes and vegan sweets from Los Angeles based catering company Running with Forks, who, despite the fact I accidentally sat on their goody bag in the car, I still ate all the squashed sweets, peeling them off the cellophane regardless!
As well as health conscious food we were treated to blowouts courtesy of my favorite team at Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood, manicures, massages and dance classes from the countries top fitness gurus, putting eager fitness freaks through their paces whilst gazing out onto the ocean. The gorgeous girls from POUND rockout workout kicked everyones arses into shape with their drum stick, core strengthening class,as well as Teddy Bass( Cameron Diaz’s trainer) ,Grace Lazenby and a special appearance by Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser.
