‘I’m not going to rehab. Take be back to the airport’: Has Lindsay skipped out of court-ordered treatment and en route back to NYC?

lindsay_lohan_black_shirt_twit

You knew she wouldn’t go quietly, but this is beyond ridiculous.

There seems to be some discrepancy between reports of whether Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab or not.

TMZ earlier published photos of the troubled star at Fry’s Electronics in Fountain Valley — when she was supposed to have checked in for her mandated rehab stint at the Morningside Recovery Center.

“Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer lied in court when he said his client was already ensconced in a rehab facility,” the website reported. “She was actually roaming the aisles of an electronics store.”

Now the NY Daily News is claiming she has skipped rehab altogether and is headed to the airport to catch a flight back to NYC.

“She went shopping at an electronics store then she was on the (rehab center) property for a couple minutes but got spooked by the paparazzi,” said a source who is aware of Lohan’s movements. “She was saying, ‘I’m not going to rehab. I’m not going to rehab. Take be back to the airport.’

“She’s headed back to LAX airport,” the source told the newspaper. “The hope is that someone talks some sense into her before she gets on another plane.”

Prosecutors, who were expecting Lohan to check into a residential rehab facility on Long Island Thursday said they were completely “blindsided” by the twin events: Lohan showing up at an L.A. clinic — and then apparently bolting.

Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White said he won’t stand for it.

“If there’s credible confirmation she’s heading back to New York, then I’m going to have to go in and ask the court to issue a warrant,” White said.

White was already angered by Lohan’s apparent decision to go to Morningside — a center which may not even be licensed to provide the “residential rehab” Lohan is ordered to undergo.

“I’m very unhappy. This is not what we agreed to,” White told the News after the morning hearing. “If we don’t approve, we’ll come back to court the week of May 13 and have a hearing.”

Story (or should we say drama) developing….

Let there be smoke! Lindsay Lohan scores rehab victory, checks into Morningside Recovery

They tried to make her go to Seafield Center rehab, and she said , “No, no, no.”

It seems Lindsay Lohan has gotten her way (for now) and has checked into a rehab facility that was never approved by prosecutors and the judge.

Instead of checking into Seafield Center in Westhamptom Beach, NY this morning, last night, Lindsay flew to CA and enrolled in Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach.

TMZ reports:

A furious prosecutor – Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White – clearly felt blindsided by the change, saying he learned about it from the media yesterday.  White also expressed misgivings about Morningside, saying he found 3 articles “condemning” the facility.

But Judge Jim Dabney looked at some of the paperwork about Morningside and said on its face it seemed like the rehab joint was acceptable, but he’s giving prosecutors a week from Friday to investigate.

For now, Lindsay will stay at Morningside.

The reason for the change in facilities is simple — Lindsay needed to get her nicotine fix and she is allowed to smoke at Morningside.

Take a tour of where she will spend her time (well, some of it, depending how on things play out legally), during her court-ordered stint….

Prepping for rehab: Lindsay Lohan packs 270 outfits for 90 days

Lindsay-lohan_12

The clock is ticking and with her 90-day rehab stint about to begin in 24 hours, the most pressing things weighing on Lindsay Lohan’s mind is her image and her pesky smoking habit.

The notion of why she is in need of treatment is lost on the wayward star, who sees her stint as an opportunity to showcase the latest trends in fashion.

The 26-year-old actress shared a picture of her messy apartment via Instagram Apr. 30, which featured several piles of clothes, suitcases and shoes strewn about her pad.

“90 days and 270 looks,” Lohan wrote in the accompanying caption.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Lindsay is freaking out because she won’t be able to smoke at the Seafield Center in New York.

The site writes that Lindsay asked her lawyers to try to convince Seafield to make an exception and, failing that, find a facility that would let her puff away.

Sources say Seafield was unbending — no smoking, no exceptions.  So lawyers triggered Plan B and contacted Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach — a place Lindsay once rehabbed at for a short time in 2010.

The problem is that the City Attorneys for L.A. and Santa Monica haven’t signed off on Morningside.

And in other Lindsay news, Tara Reid claims that Lohan is a ”Mean Girl” when she drinks.

Tara revealed: “We don’t really like each other that much… If I get drunk, I’m happy drunk. When she [Lindsay] gets drunk, she’s just mean.”

We guess there’s no love lost between Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

The hotel heiress revealed she will not be visiting her long-standing frenemy during her 90 day court-ordered rehab stint, which kicks off on May 2.

While the 32-year-old refused to expand further about Lindsay as we caught up with her as she left Anastasia Beverly Hills  on Wednesday, she did reveal that like every other year before, she will be attending this weekend’s Coachella festival.

“I love Coachella,” she said.

And, naturally, she was happy to strut down the sidewalk like it was her own personal runway.

World exclusive interview: Lindsay Lohan says she has discovered God, set to be a nun after she leaves rehab

Lindsay revealed her plans for the future as she hid under a table in a nightclub in Brazil

Lindsay revealed her plans for the future as she hid under a table in a nightclub in Brazil

Lindsay Lohan wants the world to know that this time around, she really is a changed woman.

And with a 90-day rehab stint looming and thanks to much soul-searching, she plans on undertaking enormous lifestyle changes when she leaves a treatment facility.

“I’ve changed as a person,” Lindsay exclusively told us while hiding under the table of a Brazilian nightclub on Thursday night. “I know I have said it before, but this time I really mean it. I am done with partying. Done with chasing boy band members across the world — I have found God.”

Swigging back a triple vodka, Lindsay continued: ”My newly discovered faith in God has shown me the errors of my ways. I want to be seen as the Meryl Streep of my generation. I know I have the talent. In fact, I should have won an Oscar already. But people have the wrong perception of me and there is only one way to change it…. that is to become a nun. No more booze, no more sex and especially, no more Adderall.

“I cannot wait to finish my rehab stint and be cleared of all these demons that have plagued me. I begged my lawyer to move up the date I entered, but he insisted that I go to Coachella for publicity reasons. You wait, I will show the world a brand new me. I promise.”

Oh, if only this was true and it wasn’t April Fools’ Day.

The reality of the situation is that prosecutors are already said to be debating whether to send her to jail or undertake a 90-day stint in rehab.

But the 26-year-old has now reportedly told her team of lawyers she is only prepared to go to a lockdown facility if she will be allowed to continue taking her medication for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Sources close to the 26-year-old actress have claimed she has taken the drug Adderall on a daily basis “for years”, and she is said to be prepared to “take her chances at trial” if her lawyer Mark Heller can’t find a rehab facility to accommodate her demands, TMZ reports.

Glee’s Cory Monteith checks into rehab for substance addiction

CoryMonteith_AAP_1200

He has been frank in the past about his struggles with substance abuse, and it appears Cory Monteith is still battling with his addictions.

The actor, who plays Finn Hudson on the Fox series “Glee”, has checked into rehab, PEOPLE is exclusively reporting.

The 30-year-old “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction,” his rep tells PEOPLE. “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”

Monteith, who is dating co-star Lea Michele, admitted in 2011 that he had entered rehab when he was just 19.

At the time, the actor said he hoped being honest about his struggle with substance addiction would help others.

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” he said. “But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it.”

Lea has spoken out in support of Cory.

“I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

Report: Lindsay Lohan ‘looked hungover’ and ‘puked in the parking lot’ during filming of ‘Anger Management’

They tried to make her go to rehab and she said no, no, no.

It’s baffling that regardless of the endless trouble she finds herself in, Lindsay Lohan never seems to learn her lesson.

After her second day of filming Charlie Sheen’s FX sitcom “Anger Management” turned into a disaster, with her turning up late and barely stumbling through her lines, the 26-year-old was required to return to the set early Wednesday — and we beat everyone working on that set wished she never came back.

“She had to get up early to shoot the scenes before she flew out to Brazil,” one well-placed source told the New York Daily News. “She looked hungover and puked in the parking lot.”

The source said show producers asked her to return Wednesday because of drama the day before.

The 26-year-old allegedly arrived hours tardy for her second-day call time and became upset when shooting ran late and threatened to interfere with her personal plans for the evening.

“She threw a tantrum and wouldn’t come out of her trailer,” the source said. “She really pulled out all the stops.”

On Wednesday, the troubled actress was seen leaving Los Angeles en route to Brazil, where she is reportedly set to make a six-figure sum by promoting a Brazilian clothing label.

Lindsay Lohan headed back to rehab for 90 days after striking last-minute plea deal

This is the moment, someone hurled gold glitter confetti all over Lindsay

Five trips to rehab has done little to curb Lindsay Lohan’s enthusiam for trouble, so let’s see what results her SIXTH trip to a treatment facility yields.

According to both TMZ and Radar Online, Lindsay’s lawyer has reportedly struck a plea deal with the prosecuting attorneys, despite initially rejecting one.

TMZ reports that her attorney Mark Heller stepped out and grabbed a “plea form” from the front desk, just before heading back into the judges chambers.

While Radar provided quite detailed information of what the deal involves including court ordered lock down rehab for 90 days, undergoing 18 months of psychotherapy and carrying out 30 days of community service.

The site also reported that Lohan, who arrived nearly an hour late for her court date in L.A. this morning, had red eyes and prosecutor Terry White look “livid.”

Naturally, we have to ask;

Will Lindsay finally clean up her act this time?

Here she is arriving 48 minutes late to court this morning…

Expert Opinion: She says she is doing ‘amazing’, but does Amanda Bynes need help?

There has been much speculation that Amanda Bynes was set to check into rehab after increasing pressure, but the actress is remaining defiant, despite her various incidents of late, that she is ok.

In fact, she told PEOPLE that she is doing “amazing.” .

“I am retired as an actor,” she went on to say. “I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line, I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.”

But is Bynes in denial? And should she be seeking some professional help?

Dr. Damon Raskin, addiction expert at drug and alcohol rehab facility, Cliffside Malibu, says Bynes appears to need treatment of some sort.

“It’s very hard to see whether this is a primary psychiatric disorder, like a manic episode, or whether this is a drug or alcohol fueled state,” he says. “Both could be possible, or it could be a combination. One thing that is clear, is that she appears to need to seek medical attention to help get to the diagnosis, and get the proper treatment she needs. She is clearly unsafe to drive or be out in public.”

One day before entering rehab, LeAnn Rimes declares: ‘I feel healthier, more grounded and self-confident at 30 than I ever have’

The signs weren’t apparent, and LeAnn Rimes certainly gave no clue as to her inner turmoil when she granted interviews gushing how she was feeling better than ever as she turned 30.

“I feel healthier, more grounded and self-confident at 30 than I ever have,” she told Celebuzz. “I’m so content and not depressed at all about it. ”

Now it has emerged that on Wednesday, the day after her 30th birthday, Rimes checked into rehab to deal with issues of “anxiety and stress”.

“LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress,” her rep Marcel Pariseau tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.

“While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

The star, herself, explained the rational behind her decision to seek treatment, telling PEOPLE: “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.”

“All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I’m hoping they’re not going to affect me as much,” she adds. “I’ll have the tools to know how to deal with them.”

And her husband Eddie Cibrian told the publication that his is throwing his full support behind his wife.

“My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know,” says Cibrian. “I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way.”

Rimes rep insists she is not seeking treatment for an eating disorder or substance abuse.
