Popstar Katy Perry has finally listed her vacant 8,835 sq. ft. estate, Park Hill, for $6,925,000.  This impressive 3 acre compound is hidden behind double gated entrances above the windy roads of Laurel Canyon in West Hollywood.  The property resembles a medieval castle with city views all around.

The living room welcomes guests with marble floors and a spiral staircase surrounded by white bricked walls. Inside the dining area is a golden honeycomb ceiling that hovers over a centered elongated table fit for 10 guests.  Most of the empty bedrooms features a princess like chandelier, wooden floors, and floor to ceiling windows built-in with white walls decorated with crown moldings and golden sketches of chandelier-like shapes.

Living and entertainment facilities features a media lounge, a library with a fireplace, built-in banquette seating, and a center island kitchen with cherry wooden cabinets and high-grade appliances.  The landscape reveals a sea green pond surrounded by numerous green plants rooted on multiple shelves that inconsistently align against the curved walls.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Perry was given full ownership of the property after her split with actor Russel Brand.  However Perry never occupied the property.  Instead she stayed in a nearby rental apartment house.  It was formerly owned by ex-CEO of National Lampoon, Dan Laiken.

Katy Perry inks $2 million tell-all book deal

Katy Perry is about to air her dirty laundry.

The singer has reportedly signed a $2 million book deal for an autobiography in which she is expected to address her divorce from Russell Brand and her new relationship with John Mayer, according to a report by Contact Music.

The chief aim of the book is said to be to rebuke anything negative Brand might have to say in any forthcoming release of his own, with a source saying: “Several publishers have been after Katy for a while. She decided to go ahead so fans don’t have a one-sided story when Russell publishes another Booky Wook.”

Perry has previously discussed her marriage to Brand, who she wed in October 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony, in her 3-D concert movie ”Katy Perry: Part of Me,” where she revealed that Brand wasn’t willing to put in the time and travel required to keep the marriage strong.

Katy Perry is getting in touch with her spiritual side.

The singer, who has been tweeting about cleansing her “chakras”, posted this photo of herself on Wednesday morning standing on the top of a volcano.

“I ate, I prayed, I climbed a volcano,” she wrote.

It appears that the star is taking a leaf out of Elizabeth Gilbert’s post-divorce memoir Eat, Pray, Love, which saw the author embark on a soul-searching quest that begun by climbing a volcano.

Perry hasn’t had the best of luck in the love department. First up there was her divorce from Russell Brand this year and now she has an on-off relationship with womanizer John Mayer.

Report: Russell Brand Spices up his love life by dating Geri Halliwell

After recently meeting up with the Spice Girls as they prepared for the Olympics Closing Ceremony, Russell Brand gushed about Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice.

“I’ve got a crush on Geri Halliwell — everything in the world is how it should be,” he said.

Now it seems that this crush has manifested into a full-blown love affair, according to British newspaper The Sun, which has exclusive photos of the pair during a recent outing.

The newspaper reports that the couple have enjoyed a string of dates, including a tour of Hampton Court Palace with Geri’s six-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna over the weekend, where they were seen holding hands and acting lovey dovey.


One close pal of Russell revealed to the publication: “Things are getting very serious between them — they’re a proper couple now. They had met several times in the past, but really got to know each other during the Olympics.

“People thought Russell was joking at the time, when he said he had a crush on Geri all over again, but it was true.

“They just clicked — they have so much in common.

“He is spending so much more time in London just to be with her.”

It appears Brand is so smitten, he dumped his girlfriend Isabella Brewster to pursue a relationship with the 40-year-old Halliwell.

Brand, as we know, divorced Katy Perry this year, and Halliwell has had somewhat of a checkered love life.

Russell Brand’s shocking admission: “I’d rather be a drug addict”

Russell Brand’s previous life of debauchery is well documented, and he has always been open and honest about his former addiction to heroin.

Now the British comedian is putting his smack past on display as part of a TV documentary to aired in the UK this month.

The UK’s Sun newspaper has got its hands on the first screen grabs from the show, which sees Brand sitting on the floor smoking smack in a dingy flat.

Surprisingly, when watching the clip in his hotel room at the upmarket Savoy hotel, Brand admits he’s jealous of his younger self.

“This is when you know it’s a disease,” he claims. “It doesn’t matter that I was sat in that flat in Hackney and now I’m in the Savoy. I’m JEALOUS of me then.

“It doesn’t make a difference to me. The money, the fame, the power, the sex, the women — none of it. I’d rather be a drug addict.”

In the powerful documentary titled “Russell Brand: From Addiction to Recovery”, the 37-year-old details how the drug nearly destroyed him.

“Heroin is a greedy drug, it’ll take everything,” he said. “First it’ll take your money. Then it’ll take your friends, your family, your car, your house.

“Then it’s going to take bits of your body. In the end I used to be scoring with people that had eyes missing, limbs missing.

“You’ll take it until it takes your life. It’ll take everything until the last thing and you’ll gladly give it that rather than give up the drugs.”

Brand, who was married to Katy Perry, has been clean for a decade after checking into the Focus 12 centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk in 2002.

“This was the beginning of a life-long journey of doing things differently,” he said of his 12-week stint at the facility.

New couple alert: Katy Perry and John Mayer take their romance public

With his long, unruly locks, John Mayer bears a striking resemblance to Katy Perry’s ex-husband, Russell Brown.

And it seems, she certainly has a type.

After weeks of speculation that the pair were hooking up, last night photographers finally got photos of Perry and Mayer enjoying a flirtatious date night in Los Angeles.

The couple’s first stop was Pace in Los Angeles before moving on to the Hollywood staple, Chateau Marmont Hotel.

Rumors that the pair were dating first sprang to light after they were spotted grabbing pizza together last month.

They were then seen together at Soho House on July 19th where Perry was said to be “all over” the notorious lothario.

And in a surprising fact for the day, the pair were romantically linked back in 2009.

That was the year that Mayer was said to be dating actress Rashida Jones and he reunited with Jennifer Aniston.

Despite her divorce from Brand, Perry recently admitted that she still believes in love.

Asked what she wants from her love life, Katy said: “I’m a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you’d say. I’ll let love take the lead on that.”

He once won the much coveted gong for “Shagger of the Year”, but Russell Brand insists those days are long gone.

And this morning, we learned some choice tidbits about the British comedian when he called in to Ryan Seacrest’s Kiss-FM radio show. TMI?

From pornography to the Dalai Lama,to stealing Larry King’s wife’s underwear, Russell Brand covered a everything we’ve ever wondered about the comic – and more.

Is Russell Brand Single?

“I am single as a matter of fact, Ryan. I try not to spend too much time in solemn reflection. For example, I don’t look at internet pornography ever. As I think that sort of stuff should happen in real life. Pornography is better live I think.”
 
What Did Russell Tell The Dalai Lama?
“I didn’t talk to him about sex. I just told him it was weird….because in England I had won all those awards as “Shagger of the Year” three times. I just said its was weird to be introducing the Dalai Lama, the holiest man on the planet, when I use to be known as “Shagger of the Year!”
Russell has very been busy, but “next year I’m spending some time with the Mrs., then I’m doing a movie. It’s a serious movie. It’s from Diablo Cody, the Oscar-winning writer of Juno, she’s written and directed it. I’m very excited about it.” He went on to explain his qualifications saying, “I trained as a serious actor so I did Shakespeare back in England. But you know me I like ‘mucking’ around so when it starts I might want to do a joke.”
 
What about those panty pilfering accusations?
 Russell defends himself by saying,”Larry King was naive enough to invite me into his home. There was a bizarre dinner party being made into a television show with Quincy Jones, Tyra Banks, Seth MacFarlane, Conan O’Brien, Shaquille O’Neal, and me. It didn’t seem normal to me. So to ground myself, and the only way to make sense of the situation was to sneak away and steal his wife’s underwear. Then conceal it about my person, and later Larry asked, ‘Russell, what keeps you up at night?’ to which I responded, ‘I’ll tell you what keeps me up at night. These!’ and held up his wife’s panties!”
 

Russell also explained to ‘Roger The Security Guard‘ that he will be hosting Love X-Change with Sarah Silverman on Sunday, December 11th at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre (3790 Wilshire Blvd). In lieu of payment for tickets, Brand is asking that every attendee donate two hours of service to one of the following six charities: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Rootstrikers,  Friendly House, The Art of Elysium, Los Angeles Food Bank, or Los Angeles Animal Alliance.

Russell proclaims, “You get two hours of comedy for two hours of community service! We’ve cut money right out of the equation!” Fans can sign on to Russell’s Facebook page, click on the charity they wish to donate their time to, and in exchange, they’ll receive a ticket to the show.

Out & About: Charlie Sheen in good spirits, Russell Brand’s glum

All eyes were on Charlie Sheen when he turned up to FX Summer Comedies Party at Lure in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

Showing up fashionably late, Charlie immediately had the crowd flocking around him. His TV comeback, with the starring role in “Anger Management”, premieres tonight on FX and is highly anticipated.

Meanwhile, Russell Brand wasn’t in the mood to celebrate his new effort, “Brand X”.  After walking the red carpet, the British comedian left immediately.

Though he claimed he had to finish editing his new show, could it be he wasn’t interesting in basking in the spotlight given the fact his ex-wife Katy Perry was throwing a bash elsewhere in L.A for her new film?

Elijah Wood was also spotted at the event, grabbing a glass of champagne as soon as he arrived to the FX Summer Comedies Party at Lure. He was celebrating the premiere of his highly anticipated new comedy, ‘Wilfred’ debuting tomorrow night on FX.

Also in attendance at the FX Summer Comedies Party at Lure last night were Selma Blair and Chris Klein, among many others.

Exclusive Video & Photos: Inside Russell Brand’s intimate birthday bash

He joked at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday that he was on the hunt for a new wife, and since then, Russell Brand has been linked to yet another mystery woman.

According to the Daily Mail, Russell was spotted holding hands with an attractive lady yesterday in Los Angeles.

But last night, she was nowhere to be seen as Russell had a belated birthday bash (he turned  37 on June 4), with a close gal pal and a family.

In fact, the comedian known for his often crude sense of humor and outlandish jokes, showed an entirely different side as he played the violin at a private home in Brentwood for a 13-year-old boy.

Gathered in a family setting, the group present sung “Happy Birthday” to Russell and he was seen cutting the cake they presented him.

At around 11pm, Russell and what is thought to be an employee of his, left the home and headed to a huge mansion on top of Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills, which he does not reside in,  and the pair spent the night there.

As for Russell’s merry- go-around of women, well, we don’t expect him to get serious with anyone just yet.

Highlights of the The MTV Movie Awards

It was always going to be somewhat of a controversial show, particularly when you enlist Russell Brand as a host.

And last night’s MTV Movie Awards failed to disappoint.

Right oft the back, Brand was out to stir up some trouble.

After joking how Kim Kardashian’s short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries took the pressure of him, he went on to say: “The last MTV awards show I hosted I ended up marrying someone who was there, so I will be keeping my eyes peeled tonight for my next wife.”

We’re not sure that the comedian, who met Perry while hosting the MTV Video Awards back in 2009, was entirely joking.

Elsewhere, Jennifer Aniston wasn’t celebrated as she is generally accustomed to: The actress   now goes down in the MTV Movie Awards history as the first person ever to win the Dirtbag Award, and sealed the gong for her performance as a sex crazed dentist in Horrible Bosses.

The 43-year-old took it on her stride, saying: “I mean, do you know how long I have tried to have somebody let me unleash my on-screen dirtbag? A really long time. And thank God this category just popped up.

“So I would like to say “thank you” to the television show ‘Friends’ for letting me unleash the inner sweetheart and here’s to [director] Seth Gordon for allowing me to be a dirtbag.”

The biggest winners of the night were the teen blockbuster movie The Hunger Games and its young stars, who in total swept up four awards.

As expected, Twilight continued to rule as it took home the coveted Movie of the Year award as well as Best Kiss.

However, one of the evening’s most touching moments came when Christian Bale gave an emotional introduction to the upcoming Batman film, after footage of Heath Ledger as the Joker was shown beforehand.
