Everything is better with bubbles. Even margaritas. Trust us on this one. Sauza tequila has dreamed up three ready-to-serve flavors including Original Lime, Wild Berry and Mango Peach, all with effervescent bubbles.
We tested the Original Lime, which has the spirit of a traditional margarita — for you margarita purists — with a simple twist of fresh agave and sweet and tart lime along with frisky bubbles. Perfect for a margarita party. On, why do we have a photo of the lifeguard? He’s the new spokesperson for Sauza tequila. Enjoy responsibly.
Thought you knew how to make a Dirty Martini? Yeah, we did too. After watching this video , or pretty much any Mad Men episode, we realize we need to step up our game.
Watermelon vodka? What will they think of next? (Don’t ask.) But since we believe in personally testing all our cocktails before recommending them to our readers (I know; such dedication) we can attest to their tasty-ness.

It was one of the editor’s birthdays this week (no names) so a bunch of us went out for a round of Sake Bombs. Sounds harmless, right? To see what can happen if proper sake etiquette isn’t followed, check out the epic fail video below! (And no that wasn’t us.)
How to make your own sake bomb:
Setting Up
First fill a tall glass about half full of beer. It doesn’t matter what kind of beer you use, though I prefer to stick to an Asian import, but due to the speed the concoction will be chugged, you can’t really tell the difference. The main important thing about the beer is that it be a lighter brew so it blends well with the sake. And whatever you do, don’t overfill the glass!
Next, fill a shot glass with warm sake. Again, it doesn’t need to be any particular brand as it will be chugged quickly. Do not try this with cold sake.
Assembling the “Bomb”
Place two chopsticks over the glass of beer about an inch apart. Carefully balance the shot glass of sake on top of the chopsticks.
Ichi… ni… san… SAKE BOMB!
Countdown time! It is important for everyone to sake bomb at the same time. Countdown, “three, two, one,” in Japanese is “ichi, ni, san.” After the word “san,” everyone shouts “SAKE BOMB!” and pounds the table with their fists, causing a chain reaction of the warm shots falling into the cold beer. Don’t hesitate; immediately grab your fizzing glass and chug it as quickly as possible. The shot glass falls to the bottom of the cup and will not be an obstacle. The beer and sake blend together and form a delightful flavor.
We’re regular Girl Scouts over here, so we want to be prepared for St. Patty’s Day. Here’s what we’ve tried so far — and would recommend to our discerning readers!
