Wanderlust doesn’t spread its magic on moviegoers

Despite the promotion and the real life couple that is Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Wanderlust didn’t exactly set the box office alight this weekend.

In fact, the film, which also stars the adorable Paul Rudd, just scrapped into the top ten, with just  $6.6 million, per Friday-Sunday estimates.

What makes this even worse for Jen, is that it is her worst wide-release opening since 2005′s Rumor Has It…. even Switch did better.

Here’s the top films of the weekend…

Jen on Justin: “He is really cute”

She’s still reluctant to reveal too many details about her current squeeze Justin Theroux.

In fact, it’s almost like any little detail about their romance needs to be squeezed out of Jennifer Aniston.

In a new interview with Lara Spencer for Good Morning America, Jennifer joked about her current beau: “He’s just the most cold, icy, fishy kind of guy,” She added: ”I’m trying to warm him up but you know…”

But she did agree with Lara about Justin’s looks.

“He is really cute,” she said. “He is great – he’s a great actor.”

The 43-year-old was very clear about one thing, however: That their romance did not begin on the set of Wanderlust.

She said: “Nothing happened on that movie, it’s the easy rumour. Nothing happened, we were just friends. I have known Justin a long time.”

Why so shy? Jennifer and Justin walk the red carpet separately

It was the film in which they met and fell in love. But, perhaps, in a bid to keep the attention on the movie itself, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux walked the red carpet separately for the world premiere of Wanderlust  in LA last night.

In fact, whilst Justin was pictured with Paul Rudd, Jen was photographed with several co-stars, but the pair did not appear in one single frame together.

However, this is not to suggest there are any problems in paradise: Both Jen and Justin sported their matching rings, symbolizing to the world that they are very much together and very much in love.

At 43, Jen is hotter than ever

We’ve already addressed our mistake, so let’s move on…

Jennifer Aniston appears to be happier than ever with new love Justin Theroux. Gracing the cover of the forthcoming GQ magazine with Paul Rudd, the actress looks amazing.

In the accompanying interview, the 43-year-old also reveals that she is in a great place in life, saying: “Forty’s great! Oh, my God, my thirties blew! Forties are great.”

And she addresses those persistent rumors: “I think people maybe want me to have a kid now. I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens.

“I’m calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It’s not something where I’m going, “I gotta have a kid!’”

“I’m drawing the line on the children conversation. I’m not having triplets. Not having twins. Nor am I having one baby. I did not elope… You heard it here. I’m not knocked up now.”

Let’s close the door on that, then.
