New video: Jessica Simpson shares her pregnancy news in Weight Watches ad

For weeks now, Jessica Simpson has stayed mum about the persistent rumors she was pregnant with her second child.

But on Christmas Day, she revealed her big news in the sweetest of ways.

The 32-year-old, who is engaged to Eric  Johnson, posted a picture of her seven-month-old daughter Maxwell sitting in garden with the words “BIG SIS” scrawled in the sand.

“Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” the accompanying caption read.

[Jessica confirmed her first pregnancy on Twitter also, tweeting on Halloween in October 2011: "It's true, I'm going to be a  mummy!"]

Contrary to reports that Weight Watchers were furious that the star was pregnant again after she justlost over 50 pounds, the company said they were “thrilled” by Jessica’s news.

“Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and  big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you,” they tweeted out.

And the company has insisted that no changes have been made in their $4 million business deal.

“There have been no changes to our business agreement with Jessica,” a representative for Weight Watchers told ABCNews.com. “Jessica’s successful weight loss prior to becoming pregnant will be featured in Weight Watchers’ new ‘Expect Amazing’ advertising campaign, including a spot with her sharing the happy news.”

That video dropped just a few hours ago and is featured below. It was shot at the same time as her “Expect Amazing” commercial.

The Weight Watchers rep added that Jessica “will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy. After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program.”

The ads are scheduled to air through winter.

One hot mama! Jessica Simpson shows off her slimmed-down figure after shedding 60lbs of baby weight

Jessica Simpson is delivering a Halloween treat for her fans with this new image she posted on Twitter on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old star, who gave birth to Maxwell in May, appears to be inching closer to her pre-baby weight.

Dressed as a saucy wench, complete with long hair extensions and bright red lipstick, the star showed off her ample cleavage, but also flaunted her slimmed-down waist.

Posing alongside fiance Eric Johnson, who was decked out  in a Braveheart costume and their  daughter, who was  dressed as a rooster, she tweeted: “Happy Halloween!!!”

Simpson is believed to have lost the 60lbs she piled on during her pregnancy and works out four times a week with celebrity trainer Harley  Pasternak.

But the star also had another incentive to shed the pounds other than vanity– namely, a big,  fat $3 million check to be the spokeswoman for Weight Watchers over a six-month period.

Jennifer Hudson has some weight loss tips for new mom Jessica Simpson

She’s signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers and enlisted the help of celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak’s to reach her target weight of 130lbs.

And while Jessica Simpson is adamant that she will achieve her goal in five months, Jennifer Hudson has shared some simple and easy tips that should help shed those pounds.

“Try not to snack with the baby,” she told ABCNews.com Tuesday night at the New York launch of her QVC clothing line.

The star, who became a Weight Watchers spokesperson after giving birth to her son, David, in 2009, continued: “My baby likes making cakes and when you’re making a cake you always lick the stuff off your fingers. Those things, we don’t realize what we’re taking in.”

“It helps if you write it down,” she added. “Write down what you’re eating, you’ll be far more aware. And be active with the baby. Be active with them and you’ll stay in shape. There’s no workout like running around after a 2-year-old.”

Hudson, who slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 6 in 2010, only has praise for Simpson.

“I think she will do awesome,” Hudson said. “She’s a pro. She knows what she’s doing, for sure.”

Having a baby could net Jessica Simpson close to $4 million

Just this week, Jessica Simpson gushed about her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, telling her Twitter followers just how much she adored being a mom

“I am so in love with baby Maxwell,” she wrote. “I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

And, having her first child is also going to turn out to be quite profitable too, if new reports turn out to be correct.

Jessica, who already has amassed one billion dollars in sales of her fashion line, is said to have sold the first pictures of her baby girl to People magazine for $800,000.

Though the price isn’t as high as the glory days of the $11 million for the exclusive of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins Vivienne and Knox, the figure is still extraordinarily generous given the current declining sales of the celebrity weeklies.

Then, there are the mounting rumors that she is set to sign a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers as she endeavors to shed those whopping 40 pounds she gained while she was pregnant.

Oh, and when she does marry sportsman Eric Johnson, those photos will expected to be sold off too, to the highest bidder.

No one can ever accuse Jessica of being a ditzy blonde. Shrewd businesswoman, is more like it.
