A while back, we featured an exclusive interview with former adult star Michelle Maylene, who opened up about her struggle to become a respected actress.
Her honestly was well received by girls in similar situations, so we decided to do a follow-up to see what has occurred in Michelle’s life since we last spoke to her, and its seems, not only is her TV career taking off, but she is also following another of her passions: Painting.
Here is our interview with her….
Celebzter: How have things been going since we last spoke? We’ve heard there’s been some exciting developments? Would you care to share with us?
Michelle: Things have been going great! I was recently on an episode of CSI:LV, and im really excited to be working on two different books with some of my friends. I’ll be gearing up for that and I’m really excited. All I will say thus far, is that one is a tongue-in-cheek kind of book. And the other will be an easy table read * laughs * and I’ve also started a little side painting business as well.
Celebzter: You landed a role on CSI, correct? Would you like to tells us a little about that?
Michelle: Sure, my episode is called Dune and Gloom and I play the lead dune girl, it was so much fun and I got to meet some really amazing people, like I think the director Jeffrey Hunt he was pretty much one of the coolest ever. Its suppose to air May 2ndso im excited!
Celebzter: Have people’s attitude towards you changed since you spoke out about how difficult the transition is?
Michelle: Well I feel like its shed some light on how difficult it can be and maybe for other girls who are on the same road as I am it just kinda said, you’re not alone. I hope they are more open and perceptive to seeing me blossom into so much more.
Celebzter: If so, why do you think this happened?
Michelle: Naturally because of the misconception of transition, some want to say it’s because of shame and regret, that’s not the case at all. I don’t regret nor am I shameful of my past. It brought where I am today, and I’m happy .I just want to try new things and I think people can understand that.
Celebzter: What are projects do you have lined up?
Michelle: Well I did the CSI and I’ve been hosting a new show called X360 Adult Insider. It’s a mainstream look into adult events and I have a few other projects in negotiation as well, so im pretty happy right now.
Celebzter: We didn’t know you were a painter? When did you start? And is that something you’ve always wanted to do?
Michelle: Well I’ve always been really artistic but this recently was more of a hobby. It initially started because I painted a canvas for myself and one of my friends saw it and paid me to make her one and the idea just kind of took off from that point. It’s a fun side job.
Celebzter: Can you describe a little about your style and influences.
Michelle: My style is very modern edgy. It’s the liquidated Chanel logo and a quote of your choice and possibly a picture, I recently painted one using my own picture at the request of my client of course, it came out perfect and she’s happy with it. You can get one for yourself by checking out my official site for my paintings!!
Celebzter: What would you dream be, in regards to your art?
Michelle: In regards to my art it would be to have my painting in a strangers house like on the other side of the world! I would just love for my paintings to be seen and loved. But in regards to my ultimate goal well, ultimately, I’d like to be seen as more than just a girl who did porn. I hope that people will look at me as so much more than that.. I have so many intricate facets to my personality, I’d love to be seen as an intellect, artist, an author, and innovator but ultimately an inspiration to others. Without ever snubbing or denying the fact that I did adult films of course, I’m not ashamed of it. You can’t second guess yourself in life or beat yourself up over things you’ve done. If you do though, just don’t admit it to anyone……ever…lol!
