On Monday Venus moves into Taurus. This is good news, regardless of our star sign. Venus is the ruler of Taurus, so it works very well in this sign. Venus is also the natural ruler of beauty, meaning that activities connected with beauty, fashion and love should turn out better than expected. However there is a downside to Venus being in Taurus, and that’s over-expenditure. It’s tempting to splash out on every item that catches out fantasy, without thinking about the cost. But we must remember two things. Firstly, we have limited resources. Secondly, the best things in life are free.
There’s also a Full Moon this week, on Thursday. The Sun is in Pisces, and the Moon is in the opposite sign of Virgo. This Full Moon highlights the dichotomy between chaos and order. Many of us will be trying our hardest to sort our lives out, in spite of the mountains of garbage that surround us. There are many ways to clean up, but in most cases it’s a waste of time. Yet amongst the chaos we’ll notice a small detail, which changes everything.

Aries
March 20 to April 19
The week kicks off with a conjunction between Mercury and Uranus, in your star sign. It’s an exciting, electric aspect, which gives you a real buzz. You’ll have lots of things to say, and you’ll be flowing with new ideas. As a result you’ll be able to grab people’s attention in a big way, though that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Some of your ideas are great, but others might need some work. Also, things can take a long time before people understand what you’re talking about, and you therefore need to prepare the ground. Very often a subtle hint is more effective than a rocket salvo. Also, if you say something in a hurry, you might find that you have to back up your words with action ñ and over the next month or more that might not be possible. From a financial point of view, you benefit from a favourable aspect between Venus and Neptune. This aspect is very intuitive, and you’ll get a feeling about money, that won’t go away. The feeling on its own won’t be much help, but if you do some planning and researching you could be pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Elsewhere partners have dreams and fantasies, which have a basis in reality.
Taurus
April 20 to May 20
One of the big contradictions of the Taurean personality relates to spirituality. Taureans can be extremely spiritual, they can also be great materialists. And they can be both, at the same time ñ worrying about money, worrying about God and the after-life. This tendency is particularly strong at the beginning of the week, when Venus, your ruling planet, is aspecting Neptune. You’ll be attuned to high-level energies, that are supernatural in scope. These energies will provide you with interesting information, about the Universe and what it wants. But once you’ve got the information, you need to make the most of it, and that’s going to require talent and skill. Yet the really big news this week is Venus’ entry into your star sign. Venus works incredibly well in Taurus, and when dealing with other people you’ll come over as being attractive and confident. Not surprisingly, relationships will prosper in a big way, and you’ll be helped by the tactile and sensual approach for which your star sign is famous. If you’re after a new relationship, then the way you dress could be crucial ñ but when choosing your wardrobe, use YOUR judgement, not other people’s.

May 21 to June 20
On Monday Mercury, your ruling planet, makes a conjunction to Uranus. As a result of this conjunction you’ll be on a sparkling form, and the things you say and do will have an immediate impact. So it’s a time when you need to focus on your social life ñ your friends will love your company, and if someone meets you for the first they’ll immediately be impressed. At the same time, you’ll be thinking hard about the future, and your imagination will be moving into new territory. It will seem that just about anything is possible, and maybe it is, if you handle yourself in the right way. However you mustn’t forget that Uranus is the planet of accidents and mishaps, so at the beginning of the week some Geminis could be accident-prone. You might go storming forward, unaware of what you’re getting yourself into. And if you’re not familiar with the terrain, you could fall flat on your face. As the week progresses, you can feel that things are slowing down, and you might realise that it’s going to take longer than expected to get your plans off the ground. But don’t worry, it’s all for the good.

Other people are interesting. They seem to have hidden depths, and it’s difficult not to be curious. However you have to be careful. What someone seems to be on the surface isn’t the whole picture, and there’s plenty of scope for deceiving yourself. So before you get closely involved with someone, think carefully about what you’re doing. There’s nonetheless a possibility that you link up with the right person, and as a result the benefits could be enormous. So it’s important to be open-minded, but also to make the most of your critical faculties. On Thursday there’s a Full Moon. Full Moons are always import for Cancerians, and it’s a time when your mood can change, very quickly. In one sense there’s nothing wrong with a mood change, but other people can find it disconcerting. So consider the impact that you’re having on the outside world, and if you’re in a bad mood, don’t make everyone else suffer. But what might cause a bad mood? Perhaps your horizons are too limited, and you’re focusing on things that are fairly mundane. Look into the sky, and realise that you’ve got a higher destiny, that requires imagination and vision. The first steps are the most difficult, but once you get into your stride, you’ll get all the support you need.

July 22 to August 22
It’s another week when career matters are emphasised. The planet Venus is moving into the career sector of your solar chart, and this is great news. Your working environment will suit you down to the ground, and you’ll be able to relate very well to colleagues and workmates. And if you’re in a position of authority, you’ll realise that friendliness often works better than orders and threats. Leos working in the fields of fashion and beauty will be particularly successful, because Venus is the natural ruler of beautiful things, and your decisions and choices will be near-perfect. Not surprisingly, relationships of all kinds will prosper, and if you meet someone new you can forge close links with them very quickly. If there’s a downside to Venus’ movement, it might be vanity. Leo has a certain reputation for being vain, and this week you’ll be very conscious of what you look like, and you’ll want to look better than everyone else. While I am sure you can be successful ñ and if you’re entering a beauty contest you’ve got a good chance of winning ñ you don’t want to overdo it. Be yourself, and try not to be so competitive.

The week kicks off with a conjunction between Mercury and Uranus. This conjunction is potentially important, because Mercury is your ruling planet. Virgos like things to be properly organised, but the Mercury-Uranus conjunction can be the cause of real chaos. Some of it created by other people, a lot of it created by yourself. Perhaps you’ll over-react to perfectly ordinary situations? And in the process you could cause a lot of damage. Or you might keep your thoughts and feelings bottled up, and all the while the tension levels will increase. In which case you need to find a pressure valve. Things are intensified by Thursday’s Full Moon, which has a direct impact on your star sign. The truth reveals itself, in all its glory, and it’s important that you react appropriately. You have to be honest with yourself, and realise that sometimes your treatment of other people isn’t a hundred percent perfect. But it works both ways. Not everyone has been playing fair, and if a person has behaved badly in the past it’s a good bet that they’ll behave badly in the future.

Just because someone does something strange, doesn’t mean that they’re a different person. All of us go through strange phases, and first impressions can often be meaningless. However I’m confident that you can deal with the situation. Venus, your ruler, is now moving through Taurus, a sign in which it functions very well. If you want, you can be more emotional and more intense than usual, and I mean this in a positive sense. With not much effort you can get to grips with the inner workings of partners, friends and colleagues, and in the end you’ll be able to predict their next move. But it’s the heart that matters, not the head. Venus in Taurus can also be quite a sexual energy, especially for Librans. Everything has two meaning, and in terms of relationships that’s something you have to be very aware of.

You therefore need to show respect, and also be aware of your own weaknesses. In terms of relationships, partners are very stubborn, and they have a clear idea about the way things should be working. Of course you’re stubborn yourself, but it’s a situation where you should probably give the other person the last say ñ much as it might hurt your pride! Elsewhere it seems that some of your friendships are under review. They have served you well in the past, but Thursday’s Full Moon suggests that something is changing. You’re changing, the times are changing, the world is changing. What was useful in the past may be not be useful in the future.

Where do you get your inspiration from? From your own head? From the heavens? That’s all well and good, but you should sometimes consider your social surroundings. And right now, with Mercury making a conjunction to Uranus, the people you meet in your everyday life are going to be very excitable, and they’ll be full of ideas. A lot of these ideas are going to be rubbish, but not all of them. Indeed amongst the rubbish there’ll be precious pearls, and it’ll be your job to find them. This means that you’ll have to listen to everything everyone says, just in case. And remember that just because someone has been stupid and useless in the past, doesn’t mean that they’ve got nothing to contribute. In terms of relationships, partners are looking for something different, particularly at the beginning of the week ñ and it’ll be your responsibility to provide it. On Thursday there’s a Full Moon, which crosses a major axis of your solar chart. You have to make some decisions about your career. These decisions seem difficult, but deep down you know the answers.

It’s time for Capricorns to lighten up. While it’s true that there are serious things going on this world, most of them will happen with or without your presence. So really, there’s no harm in having some fun. Indeed a humorous approach might be the best way of getting things done, especially at work. With a bit of laughter you’ll get people onto your side, and if you’ve got a managerial position your friendliness will give you extra power. At the same time, you mustn’t be afraid of being original, particularly now, when your creativity is at a peak. You have brilliant ideas, which can make you more successful in your career, and you mustn’t be afraid of telling people about these ideas. I’m convinced that they’ll be impressed! It’s time to settle down ñ at least for the moment! Since your birthday lots of different things have been going on in your life, and it’s all become rather exhausting. But you now have a chance to step off the conveyor belt, and become a spectator rather than an actor. You can spend more time at home, and you can indeed change your attitude to your home environment. It can be a place of sanctuary, and through simple actions you can make your home more beautiful and more comfortable. You certainly won’t have to spend a lot of money. Or even any money. And if you’re lucky enough to have a garden, it’s time to do some work ñ getting your hands dirty, with raw, sacred earth, will, I think, be very good for your mind and soul. Yet I’m not suggesting that you completely shut yourself off from the outside world. On Thursday there’s a Full Moon, that reveals some of the complications that had been underpinning your own and other people’s lives ñ with particular emphasis on sex and money. It’s a message that you need to take on board, though right now there’s probably no need to do anything in particular. And there’s certainly no need to worry.

You know how to deliver your message. It’s not about shouting from the rooftops with a megaphone. Instead it’s about subtlety ñ and that means putting listening first and talking second. So pay careful attention to the people around you, and try to understand what makes them tick. You can then package your message in such a way that it makes an instant impact. It’s therefore a great time for Pisceans to look for work, or to find new business. And in terms of romance, you can tell someone special how your feel about them, because your choices of words will be exquisite. Turning to money, and at the beginning of the week there’s a possibility that you spend too much, particularly on transport and communications. You might, for example, decide that you want to travel somewhere in style, and as result blow your weekly budget. Also, if you happen to be shopping for a new car, you might choose a vehicle that’s pretty rather than practical. On Thursday there’s a Full Moon, across the main axis of your solar chart. This is an important event, especially if you’re celebrating a birthday this week. Something has reached its peak, and a quick resolution is probably better than a slow decline. But hey, I mean that in a positive sense. You need to move on, so that you can grab hold of new opportunities.
