One of the most eye-catching designs at the Balenciaga Spring 2012 runway show were the open-topped, Dark Vader-inspired hats.
Comments about them have ranged from ugly and mullet-ish to fierce and fashion-forward.
With the Royal Wedding sparking funky hats as a gleam in America’s fashion eye, I definitely expect a milder ready –to- wear version will be a hit with the ladies. Personally, I cannot wait to get mine.
