The Nutrition Twins weigh in on how women are being fed the wrong message

When we first looked at these photos of South African Victoria Secret model, Candice Swanepoel during a photoshoot in St.Barts earlier this week, we wouldn’t help but notice that what is realistic and what is purported in the media are entirely two different things.

Candice looks like any normal girl, perhaps a little too thin, in the photo above, and hours later in the photo below, she is a goddess.

So, we consulted the Nutrition Twins to get their take on it.

Here’s what they have to say….

Really?! These photos are of the same girl just hours apart? We knew magazines do their share of airbrushing, but sheesh, how is this supposed to make us all feel when most of us find the true-life body of a model to be unattainable? Magazine photos like these only make most of us feel more inadequate by creating unrealistic images of bodies like this. Turning a skinny body into a tan, curvy and boobalicious one doesn’t send a very good message. Such a shame, we say let models be human and keep the airbrushing to a minimum– or better yet, don’t air-brush at all!
