At the last night of the Tribeca Film Festival, the stars of Marvel’s The Avengers met some real-life heroes from New York’s finest.
Cast members Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders posed for photos with first responders from the NYPD and NYFD , service men and women from the army, navy, air force, marines and coast guard.
The film is set to be HUGE stateside when it opens next weekend, if the overseas ticket sales are anything to go by. Last weekend, the flick lived up to its blockbuster buzz with $178.4 million in overseas ticket sales. It is expected to rake in $150 million in the US and Canada on its opening weekend.
