Tony Scott’s family dispute claim that he an inoperable brain tumor - The veteran director leapt to his death on Sunday by jumping off a bridge in Los Angeles

Perhaps his sudden suicide was easier to understand after a report emerged that he had an inoperable brain tumor.

But, now, the reason behind Tony Scott’s decision to take his own life by jumping “without hesitation” off the Vincent Thomas Bridge on Sunday is even more baffling.

LA Coroner Chief Craig Harvey says Scott’s family is disputing the claim he an inoperable brain tumor.

“According to family spokespersons, the information concerning brain cancer or an inoperable brain tumor in Mr. Scott is incorrect,” he says.

So far, the coroner has not announced any findings regarding Scott’s medical condition.
