Totally Tuned In: Celebrities come out to help dogs like Fiona - On Sunday, stars including Will Ferrell and Shawn Johnson completed in the Rock 'N' Roll Los Angeles Halloween Half-Marathon benefiting the ASPCA

These stars certainly have a big heart.

On Sunday, Will Ferrell, Shawn Johnson and Brandon and Leah Jenner among others, took part in the 2012 Rock‘n’ Roll Los Angeles Halloween Half-Marathon benefiting the ASPCA® .

More than 300 Team ASPCA members joined 12,000 runners to cross the finish line to raise money and awareness for the ASPCA’s life-saving work. The ASPCA also hosted a Shelter Pet Costume Contest with special guest judge Fiona, recipient of the 2012 ASPCA “Dog of the Year” Humane Award.

The contest featured adoptable pets from the Los Angeles Animal Alliance and Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation, to which the ASPCA presented a grant of $100,000 to further their mission of finding homes for animals in need and ending animal homelessness in the Los Angeles area. Animal lovers watched the contest and snacked on Walkers Scottie Dog cookies provided by Walkers Shortbread.

Thanks to the money raised by the public, dogs like Fiona get a chance to have the life they so throughly deserve.
