For dog lovers everywhere, this weekend provided quite the sight as the 7th annual dog surfing competition was held on a beach in California.
Over 50 dogs of all sizes gathered along the San Diego shore for the event, officially known as the Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition.
The competition, which sees dogs compete in ten minute heats, has become one of the most unique events in Southern California, sparking a growing movement for dog surfing across the globe.
