Totally Tuned In: Man calls 911 NINE times for beer run - One man's mission to get beer lands him in a whole lot of trouble

It’s something we’ve all encounter on a Saturday night and it can seem like an emergency at the time, but one man took his lack of beer stash too far!

Allen Troy Brooks was arrested after he called 911 nine times during the course of a Saturday night in his effort to get more booze.

“Hey, you want to take me to the store?” Brooks, a 67-year-old man from Columbia, Tenn., asked the 911 dispatcher. “I want to go to the store to get me a beer. I’ll pay you.”

“OK. Sir. I can’t take you to the store to get a beer,” the dispatcher said.

Undeterred, Brooks told the dispatcher she could “come now.”

“No sir,” she said. “You’ve got 911.”

Brooks was arrested for making 911 calls  in a non-emergency. He contends he incorrectly dialed and was trying to reach his friend.
