Totally Tuned In: Meet Sammy, the dog caught in a $500,000 custody battle

This adorable 10lb, fluffy Pomeranian dog called Sammy is at the centre of a bitter $500,000 lawsuit as a couple fight over ownership of the cute pooch.

Scott Smith, 43, his ex-girlfriend Anna Camara, 44, and Smith’s sister, Jessica, launched the website “Sammy and the City” last year, which followed the dogs exploits around NYC.

The site soon became an online sensation, gaining an impressive following of 40,000 visitors a month keen to check in on Sammy’s exploits.

But Smith ad Camara’s relationship soured and now they are fighting over custody of Sammy.

Last week Smith landed Camara with a $500,000 lawsuit for scuppering their website.

“This is my dog, this is my project, and not one bit of it is in my name,”Smith told the New York Post.

    Who ever bought that dog has legal ownership of him.  They are not married, so if he bought Sammy, then he is the owner.  Shame on her for wanting to steal his baby.  Go get her own!  I have 2 poms and 2 golden retrievers and would NEVER let someone take them from me.  I say fight for your baby!
