This clip of Primrose the donkey wearing pink casts is touching hearts around the world.
She was born so prematurely at the Bind Equine Veterinary Practice in Bridgnorth, Shropshire in the United Kingdom, that the bones of her front legs weren’t fully developed yet, so she had to be fitted with casts until they develop more.
“Primrose couldn’t stand or walk very well. She’s been wearing the casts for a week,” equine vet Kate Maxwell told the Daily and Sunday Express of the foal.“
