San Diego’s Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza turned into a colossal disaster when a technical error caused 15 minutes worth of explosions to go off in 15 seconds.
Silence fell over the startled crowd as huge mushrooms of smoke filled the sky in what is now being called the Big Bay Boom.
