This footage is so surreal, that it’s almost impossible to believe it is true.

Police and  paramedics were called to the Susquehana River in Pennsylvania after a lifeless and seemingly dead body was spotted floating face up.

“‘I saw him down there all by myself, second thought was oh my gosh,” said Sue Hubbard, who made the initial 911 call at around 12.30 p.m. on Thursday to report what she believed to be a dead person floating in the dam.

However, and much to the amazement of those gathered around the scene, the man in question, Joseph DeAngello suddenly arose and walked out of the river.

He claimed he was sleeping and was unaware of the commotion he had caused.
