The force was certainly with him, as Max Page, who played the young Darth Vader in this year’s infamous Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial, is recovering and doing well after his latest open-heart surgery.
It was the eight operation for the 7-year-old cutie, who was diagnosed with a heart defect when he was 3 months old.
Max underwent the two-hour operation Thursday at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Doctors successfully replaced his heart valve and expect to release him in five days, a hospital spokesman told MSNBC.
“The surgery went extremely well,” Jennifer Page, Max’s mother, said in a statement. “We love the outpouring of support that everyone has shown. The kindness of strangers, family and friends has been tremendous.”
Max said prior to the operation that he was looking forward to playing baseball after the surgery, adding that “my dad says I’m gonna be a first-round draft pick.”
