Kate Upton may have snared the much coveted Sports Illustrated cover, but she’s also been on the receiving end of some rather snarky remarks from the casting director for Victoria’s Secret.
“‘We would never use’ Ms. Upton for a Victoria’s Secret show,” Sophia Neophitou told The New York Times. “She’s like a Page 3 girl.”
And if the reference to the UK’s Sun newspaper’s topless girls wasn’t bad enough, Sophia went on to say: “She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.”
Does anyone else feel that these comments are a little too harsh?
