Video: Brad Pitt playing a tough as nails mob enforcer

The official trailer for Killing Them Softly has just hit the internet and it features Brad Pitt playing one hell of a tough guy.

The film, which also stars James Gandolfini and Ray Lliot, sees Pitt in the role of Jack Cogan- a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game.

Killing Them Softly is a modern-day update of George V Higgins’ 1974 novel Cogan’s Trade and was praised by critics at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Though, there was some debate as to whether it had a anti-Obama message.

Do you think it’s a hit or a miss?

    Brad’s choice of movies have left me disappointed so often that I’m put off by any further films he makes.  JesseJame rambled on and on and on and…….., the CCOBB was also too long and monotone to suit me.  The only two films I’ve enjoyed watching that had Brad Pitt in them were legend of the fall and fight club.  Karma has not been kind to Brad Pitt.

    “In America You Are On Your Own” , anti-Obama, or is he still pissed off at the industry? LOL Clint says America needs a boost so Obama is not getting his vote, so maybe he is not getting Brad’s either. Difference is, one will admit it, and the other will not.
