The “gigantic” bombshell that Donald Trump hinted could change the presidential race was delivered today by the man himself and posted on his Twitter and Facebook page.
At noon he released the following clip, in which he challenged Barack Obama to release his college records and passport application. If the challenge is met by Obama, the media mogul promises to donate $5 million to a charity of the President’s choice and the check will be delivered within an hour of Obama handing over the documents.
“If President Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications and if he gives his passport applications and records, I will give to a charity of his choice, inner city children of Chicago, American Cancer Society, Aids research, anything he wants, a check immediately for $5 million. The check will be given within one hour of his releasing the records so stated,” he said in his YouTube announcement.
For the past few days, rumors have been swirling about what exactly Trump would reveal, with one pundit even suggesting that he was set to unearth divorce papers between Obama and his wife Michelle.
However, Trump dismissed the claims, tweeting; “All predictions re: my 12 o’clock release are totally incorrect. Stay tuned!”
